Backup Policies - Can they be used to transfer files with Windows extended permissions?

Within QuantaStor you can create backup/migration policies where data from any NFS or CIFS share on your network can be automatically backed up for you to your QuantaStor system. When migrating or copying data from and to Windows environments, it is important to note that extended permissions cannot be transferred using a policy.

If you need Windows extended permissions to be transferred, we recommend that you stop the transfer,  use robocopy on a Windows host that is on the correct domain, and has the correct permissions.
